Howard Street Loft

A loft residence for a couple. The space sits on top of a historic building that overlooks Canal Street in SoHo, lower Manhattan. The primary goal in this project was to maintain an open, loft-like view throughout the space, and yet also provide two bedrooms, a kitchen, and bathrooms. To achieve that, we limited the walls of the bedrooms to 2/3 height, allowing the ceiling plane to maintain its continuity.
