Flatiron District Loft

A collaboration between BOND (Architecture) and Edgar Gonz├ílez (Interiors), this project is a gut renovation of a 2-bedroom loft in Manhattan: exposing and refinishing structural metal elements revived the loft’s industrial history, adding glass partitions created a new house office and increased the visual connection between the living room and the primary bedroom. The interior merges industrial accents with modern furnishings, while vintage pieces add character. Artwork from Mexico and Israel – homelands of the owners – punctuates the space, infusing it with a cross-cultural design narrative.
