Bar Leone

Bar Leone is a two-story cocktail bar born from a two-year collaboration between restaurateur Andres Diaz and BOND. Within a 2,400-square-foot footprint, the design divides the space into two distinct worlds stacked on top of one another.Upstairs, an elevated cocktail bar unfolds in a rich, tactile material palette: Sapele wood, corduroy velvet, and red travertine combine for a warm, refined atmosphere suited to a slower, more considered drink.

Downstairs, the mood shifts, and an Italo-disco lounge bar takes over, awash in red — velvet wallpaper, vinyl banquettes, and a red-lacquer-and-chrome bar come together to create a glossy, high-energy space built for late nights.Together, the two floors form a single project that moves fluidly between intimacy and spectacle, giving Bar Leone two complete identities under one roof.
